Stonecrest in Summerfield, Florida features a 7,000 square-foot clubhouse with a cultural arts center and community kitchen. Other indoor amenities include a fitness center, heated pool, card room, billiards, library, computers, and a ballroom. There is also an on-site restaurant called the Tin Cup Grill.

For outdoor activities, residents have many choices. Not only does Stonecrest have two outdoor pools, but tennis facilities, pickleball, bocce ball, softball, and horseshoe pits provide plenty of opportunities for friendly competition.

Stonecrest Homes & Real Estate
Construction at Stonecrest in Summerfield started in 1989 by Oriole Homes but was later acquired by Armstrong in 1997. At completion, 2,200 single-family homes are expected to make up this 55 and over community. Homesites are 1/4 acre in size and many homes are located on the golf course. Houses in Stonecrest range in sizes from 1,238 to 2,243 square feet. Homes typically feature two to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms and a two-car garage.

There are a total of 21 different models offered in the community, eight of which are resale only homes built by Oriole Homes between 1989 and 1997, plus 13 models that are offered by Armstrong since 1997. One of the highly coveted attributes of Stonecrest is the ability for homebuyers to make semi-custom changes to their home. Some of the existing homes for resale have screened in porches and pools, golf course or open farm views, brick driveways, or three-car garages. Association dues are fairly reasonable. However, homeowners have the option of having their homesites fully maintained for additional fees.
Stonecrest Lifestyle
Stonecrest provides a laid-back, rural atmosphere with easy access to everyday needs, as close as right across the street. While residents at Stonecrest definitely enjoy a desirable country club lifestyle and golfing is a major appeal, there are many other ways to spend the days. A full-time activities director is on hand to make sure the ballroom sees plenty of social events. In addition, there are a variety of clubs to join, such as aerobics, billiards, book, bridge, bunco, canasta, computers, cooking, horseshoes, Mah Jongg, pickleball, photography, singles, softball, tennis and more.
